Nature
and Extent of involvement of faculty and students in
academic affairs/improvements:
There are frequent meetings of teachers and
meritorious students, where they discuss the possible
areas of improvement, their interactive experience
with industry and the latest trends in the IT field
the world over. New suggestions are often put before
the academic advisory committee and possible reforms
are effected.
-
Mechanisms/ Norms & Procedure for democratic / good
Governance:
There is an inherent mechanism in the college which
ensures good governance. The students and office staff
often interact with administrative staff and bring to
light any problem they may be facing. The office and
administration are keen to plug any loopholes and to
ensure quick remedy for any problem.
-
Student
Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty
performance:
Bi-annual surveys are conducted in the college through
a questionnaire to get feedback about institutional
governance and faculty performance by the students.
Such surveys are kept strictly confidential and
results are viewed only as an effort for improvement.
-
Grievance
redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students:
Two faculty members are co-opted on the management
board. These faculty members are in constant touch
with students also. If any student has any problem, it
os discussed with the teacher's representative who in
turn discusses it with management. Similarly a student
advisory committee has been constituted. A senior
lecturer Mr. Munish Goyal is in charge of the advisory
committee which has five meritorious students as its
members.
